Case Study - Country House, Somerset

A Country house with a remote unused barn in Somerset was transformed into a 33KW generator in February of this year. The 250Msq south facing roof space accommodated 152 high efficiency Solar PV panels. These are fed though 2 x 15KW inverters and the entire system was installed and commissioned in one week.

The system will produce nearly 30,000 KWH/PA which is £10,830.00 on the feed in tariff alone...

It was then calculated that by running the supply across their property 250M to the main house complex, it had the potential to save them an additional £4200.00 on their electric bill.

All of this coupled with the export tariff, means the commercial solar PV system has an estimated annual income of £15,480.00!!!
